Evelyn was a true friend. Loved people and loved life. Her paintings express more than just a picture, they are part of her. She could make you laugh with a subtle expression or smirk. So many beautiful memories I have and will hold dear, always...until then, Evelyn...we will see each other again in heaven. To the family...keep her memories alive with all her sayings, photos and paintings. I love you all.
Evelyn was a remarkable soul who graced this world for 96 beautiful years. Her life was a testament to her resilience, winsome nature, and grace-a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She

I, like everyone else, have wonderful memories of Evelyn and Fonda from Samos, from Massachusetts, and from our endless gatherings in Florida.
She was such a gracious hostess. When our Parea would gather at their home, with Fonda and cousin Jimmy would play their mandolin and accordion, and everyone would be singing and dancing. Ouzaki was a must, and Evelyn, among other things, would always make her famous taramosalata.
She always had the kindest words for everyone and a constant smile on her face.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in each of us.

No , like a rock of faith that Evelyn exhumed they encouraged me to create , decorate ,find meaning in the beauty of flowers and nature , to continue to give back to the church choir and its hymnology . There was an extra sense which artists like Evelyn was part of her innate character. She possessed a basic language that artists share . To be able to take a God given idea from your imagination and duplicate it whether it be in art , music , dance , poetry all of these Divine inspired gifts that round out the human soul . This was who Evelyn was. Evelyn looked past the facade of people .She looked into their hearts and beings and extracted family , friends ,and strangers treating all with kindness and respect . She never had an ill word or gossip about anyone w
