Travis Jacques Hawks Travis > Caring and everloving son, brother, Daddy, uncle, nephew, Grandson, cousin, animal lover, and Friend. God’s Beloved. Someone we will love and cherish Forever. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida on September 22nd, 1981. Travis attended Our Savior Lutheran School, was a youth member at Maximo Presbyterian Church, and played baseball in a county league. He went to Azalea Middle School then entered the culinary arts program at Dixie Hollins High. After earning his certificates in culinary arts at Pinellas Technical Education Center, he was an excellent chef at several locations including FISH in Gulfport and Hospice Woodside where he sought out special requests from patients, preparing their favorite foods for them. He and his daughter, Dakota have cooked many meals together and he taught her how to create their favorites. Travis learned a wide array of skills in maintenance and handiwork alongside his Dad. He cherished with fun, their times together and took great pride in this, putting it to work as a maintenance engineer in his latest position at Tradewinds Resort where he valued meaningful relationships with some wonderful people. Travis passed on in his sleep at home on December 31st, 2020. There are no words for the heartbreak. His Love and deep caring are with us, always will be. . . his sweet spirit and hugs forever in our hearts and minds. As we mourn his absence here, we move on, Dearly Grateful for his calm, well-earned Peacefulness surrounded in the Love and Care of Great Spirit with souls who hold him mightily in Joy. Travis is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Dorothy Hawks, Grandfather Robert A. Hawks, Grandma and Grandpa Carolyn and Virgil Feltner, Great Aunt Lois and Uncle Bruce Wadsworth, Great Aunt Vona and Uncle Fred McLearan, Uncle Robbie Feltner, Aunt Susie Feltner, Aunt Peggy Feltner Farley, Uncle Jerry Rothwell, and cousin Michael Bailey. We, his survivors include Dad and Mom Kevin and Nanci Hawks, daughter Dakota Hawks, brothers Sean and Kyle Hawks, sister Keri Hawks Konidas (Spiro), neice Tatiana Acquarolo, nephew Ryan Hawks-Montes, Aunt Patty and Uncle Larry Bailey, Uncle Jimmy Patton, Aunt Susan Rothwell, Uncle Mike Hawks, Aunt Winkie Hawks, and Aunt Karen Feltner; cousins Kim Fairbanks and Joshua (Megan) and Hunter Fairbanks, Randy Feltner (Kristi), Trenton and Aubrey Feltner, and Robin Feltner Shorter (Chris) and Family, Lana Wadsworth Lehmann and Johnny and Jason Lehmann, Lon Wadsworth (Judy), Lori Wadsworth Wyatt and Dawn Wadsworth Pisano and Families, the McLearan Families, plus his beloved dog, Cherry. We will have an intimate gathering of BIG LOVE for Travis in some Blessed Time in the future. We Thank You sincerely for holding sacred space in your Hearts for Travis and us All.
