Roger Clark Robinson, 78 of St. Petersburg passed away July 27, 2021. He was a faithful servant of God who loved his family and friends immensely. Clark was born in Wichita, KA and was 1 year old when he moved to St. Petersburg “Gods Country” as he called it, with his father, Alfred John Robinson and Mother Vera Endsley. A graduate of St. Pete High, Florida State University, where he played football and track and field for the Seminoles and Stetson University College of Law. He was a Florida boy through and through. He ended his career as a partner at Fowler White in 2010. He loved his community and served it in multiple capacities. He was the past president of the Sigma Nu Fraternity at FSU, the YMCA of St. Petersburg, University Club and Squires. He was a member of the Florida Bar, SunCoasters, Polywogs and the St. Pete Yacht Club. Clark lived life to the fullest and enjoyed all it had to offer. From fishing the blue oceans with his favorite buddies, to cruising and traveling the world with his wife Diane and close friends. Through all of the exciting adventures some of Clark’s most endearing moments were spent at home enjoying his title as Pop Pop to his four grandchildren. Cooking, gardening, fishing and playing cards; they shared wonderful memories together. Clark is survived by his loving and devoted wife Diane, of 48 years, his daughters Meredith Kirby of Naples, Endsley Hewitt (Thomas) of Winter Park, sister Trudi Tillett(Bill) of Stuart, four grand children Watson and Pierson Hewitt, Raley and Harper Kirby, niece Monica Olsen (Christian), nephew Dr. John W Tillett (SaHar) Lisa Luckey (Kevin) and niece Camie Bianchi. A celebration of Clark’s life will take place on Saturday, August 14 at St. Thomas Episcopal church at 1pm. We ask you to please consider wearing bright celebratory colors or garnet and gold for his cherished Seminoles. Donations in Clarks name can be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or In honor of his granddaughter, Harper Kirby to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Great Strides.
