I just heard about Dr Mac’s passing and I am so sad. He has taken care of my animals since 1995-25years! He was always kind, caring and knowledgeable and I will miss him so much! My deepest condolences to his family. Carol Crawford
My name is John Ciurca and my mom was Irene Ciurca and we owned Mikie and Dr Mac and Dr Smith were Mikie's vets from when we moved to FL in 2005, Mikie was 6 years old at that time and Doctors Mac and Smith were Miikie's vets until Mikie died in 2014. I will never forgot how great of a vet and person Dr Mac was and my thoughts and condolences go out to the whole McGlamery family. Sadly my mom Irene passed away in Dec of 2018. My mom loved both Dr Mac and Dr Smith.
Just learned of Mac's passing when I logged in for Aggie Muster. Mac and I were great friends at Clear Creek High School and headed off to A&M together in September 1964. We served our Fish year together in Squardon 14 before he left the Corps and went off to study for Vet medicine. We had great times together at the Creek and at A&M. I answered "HERE" for him at today's Muster.

I've always known he was the best Vet. My Grandparents started going to him when he 1st opened. And through the year's became friends and Dr. Mac and family would go to my grandparents mini farm and buy eggs, rabbits and other fruits and vegetables. Dr. Mac continued to always care for their animals. Then once my grandpa passed and then my Grandma I started to take my animals there for continued care. I feel apart of my memories are gone but I'll never forget the stories. Sending prayers of love and support. 🙏💙
We first met Dr. Mac in 1977 when we were all young. My wife and I had a German Shepherd with a very rare disease more common with humans than a dog. Dr. Mac kept the dog for weeks at a time trying to figure out what was killing our beloved 5 year old furry child. Dr. Mac had a stack of X-Rays inches thick not to mention all the time and effort he had provided in the attempt to save Sunny's life. The dog had Lupus and could not be saved so we all decided to stop the suffering. Through our tears I wanted to settle up with him for all he had done and asked for the bill. He told me to forget it and I was incredulous because no doctor I had ever dealt with was so selfless and compassionate that he would write off a bill worth hundreds of dollars. In all the years since then he has cared for the seven dogs we have loved in the last 43 years. This is just a glimpse of the greatness of this man who will be missed not only by my family but all the other families he so graciously served over 47 years in practice in Pinellas Park. Good bye Doc the world is a lesser place without you and I'll see you at the Rainbow Bridge. God bless Rachel and all the other sweethearts at Park Animal Hospital.

Had many pets over the years and have been going to Park Animal and Dr. Mac since 1977. I know he will be greatly missed by family, staff and patients.
I met Dr Mac in 1984 when I took my Jesse cat to him when she was 10 weeks old he took care of her and all other kitty's over these years. He was gentle and kind man who love our babies and sure will be missed by some many. All of you at Park Animal Hospital are in my prayers and thoughts during this most difficult time hope knowing he was loved by many. He guided me thru out the years with my babies good times and bad he was always there like a friend which I'm glad I can call him that. Always made you feel like family not a client. Thank you Dr Mac RIP
