Linda Myriam Hernandez

March 13, 1947 - April 28, 2022

Linda Myriam Hernandez of St. Petersburg, FL, after a life well-lived in spite of many health conditions and limitations, died peacefully in her sleep with her beloved spouse at her side on April 28, 2022. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Dalia and Lorenzo Hernandez of Tampa, FL. who, along with the Lord, welcomed her home. She is survived by her spouse and partner of 27 years, Teri L. Ulmer; children, (four legged), Jenny and Katie; brother and sister by proxy, Al and Mari Fernandez of Wesley Chapel, FL; sister-in-law, Lori Grant (Dave Townsend) of Lone Tree, CO; and her cousins, Tery Sanchez and Maria Castillo of Tampa, FL, Dr. Mario Castillo (Kim Clark) of Big Spring, TX, and Judy Felicione of Brooksville, FL. Born and raised in Tampa in 1947 and a graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Linda retired after working 48 years in the Florida Title Insurance industry where she was, and still is, highly regarded. At her retirement, she was Vice President and Title Insurance Underwriter for a major title company. At her request, no service will be held; there will be a private celebration of life. Also in lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made in her name to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Lastly, it was important to her that the many members of her "extended family," each of whom provided light along Linda's journey home, know that they are recognized and thanked for their faithful friendship and support throughout the years. In recognition of both the sacredness of time spent together and life connections made, which of themselves present a million reasons to be grateful, to all she leaves these words of comfort: "Do not be sad at my passing, just call my name and I will be there"
