Leonard Edmundo Kerlin, 46, unexpectedly passed away February 27th, 2022. He was born in Nyack, New York on June 15th, 1975, to Wayne and Martha Kerlin. The family moved to St. Petersburg when he was 5 years old where he loved going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and everything else this wonderful gem of a city had to offer. He had a passion for surfing and traveled to Costa Rica and Australia to catch the waves . While in Australia, he was enamored by the Great Barrier Reef. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had a unique sense of humor. Leonard received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Management from the University of Florida in May 1999. He worked many years in Hotel Management and Hospitality for the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort. Before his sudden passing Lenny was set to embark on a new adventure rolling out Spectrum Communication’s 5G network. He was predeceased by his Dad Wayne Kerlin and baby sister Marianita. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Martha Kerlin, sister Monica Gould, brother-in-law Michael Gould, nephews Brandon, Aaron, Nathan Gould, niece Elizabeth Gould, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends across the world. Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7851 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709 on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 12:00 pm. Following mass Leonard will be laid to rest in close proximity to his father and sister at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33760.
