Just thinking of Jamie and the family... I remember her joy in celebrating her 70th birthday... I enjoyed being there..naturally with a good place to eat.. and she was so happy.. My thoughts and prayers are with you..as she is celebrating 73 in Heaven.
Jamie was always there as a friend and one you could count on. God always had his hand upon her.
Prayers go out to Mrs. Garcia's family. Students who have had her for a teacher thru the years have truly been blessed. 50 some years later and I still remember her - Miss Conner - a great teacher who made learning fun.
Friend forever... faithful and fun Jamie, a new life you have begun.. I remember your laughter and even some tears... It seems you should have been with us many more years.. There'll be a time when again we will meet. We'll laugh, sing and share.. that will be a treat.. Your friends and family will have adjustments to make.. May they find peace and joy with the new steps they'll have to take.. Find comfort in the good memories

Jamie was my Boca Ciega High School journalism advisor when I was the school newspaper editor. She was a sweet, caring teacher who influenced my choice of journalism as a lifetime career. I remember her loaning me, a 16-year-old student, her car in order to take our galley proofs to the printer each week. I have always wondered where she lived and whether she taught anywhere else after I graduated. I was so sorry to read her obituary this morning and to discover she had been right here in Pinellas County all these years. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I am sure she was a wonderful wife and mother.
