My grandma was truly one of the kindest, sweetest people I knew. She was always a positive, happy person and made you feel loved and welcome when you were in her presence. She instilled in me a love of travel (along with my grandpa) as we shared many trips across the country in their motor home. We traveled across 38 states over 3 summers. Grandma had the official green thumb of the family and would take our wilted plants and bring them back to life-she was an excellent gardener and took pride in her yard and plants, well into her 80's. She was an avid Canasta player and taught many in her family how to play (i'm not sure if I ever beat her!) When visiting her, we would often play for hours, while sitting around the table as she told us all the happenings in the neighborhood. There are so many more memories of her-too many to list here. I feel so fortunate to have all of these wonderful memories of my grandma. My family truly lost a bright light and will miss her so much. Her legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is so loved ❤️
