From the time I met Phyllis at Skips she always brought joy to my life. We iived down the street from each other and she was my friend Phyllis and I was Rosie on the corner.Phyllis was a Mad beach girl all the way, riding her bike down Gulf Blvd and spreading fun and laughter wherever she went. We had so many good times together it fills my heart to have had a good friend like her. She will be dearly missed. Peace and love to you..
Her friends will attest that it was Phyllis's spunk and spirit that drew us all to her. Little did we know how that spirit would translate into such a warrior. She fought a good fight, for a very long time, against a terrible disease. Free from pain at long last...Rest in Peace Phyllis.
Although I left Florida many years ago, I will always remember Phyllis as someone who always made me feel important. She always seemed happy to stop and speak to everyone at anytime, no matter what she was doing. My prayers are with you now.
I was so sorry to hear about Phyllis. I was a kid when I knew her back in the late 70's early 80's. My mom Barbara (Mac) & my Aunt Rosie were good friends of hers. She was always fun & exciting. As kids; my cousin Tammy, my sister Michelle & I always wanted to visit her. My thought and prayers are with you now.

I only met Phyllis once at the Circle of Friends, but as soon as you met her, you loved her. She had a good soul and a joy to be around. So much fun and was welcomed into the Circle immediately. Phyllis will never be forgotten. My memory of her was the days of fun at the "camp". There wasn't a day that she didn't smile as I knew it.
