I am an old friend of Mike's from high school and college.. I knew Mike and Bonnie in college and they are a great couple. Mike was in my wedding and I in his and Bonnie's wedding. I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I haven't spoken to him in a number of years but will always remember him fondly, he and his his whole family. I knew Kenny and Mike's parents and met his other two brothers a couple of times. Bonnie, thoughts of prayers from Connie and I are with you and your family.
I feel honored to have known Mike. He brought a sense of dignity and character to every interaction. All who knew him have been enriched by his presence and have been diminished by his passing.

So many great memories over the years: camping, soccer, golf, baseball games, football games. It is impossible to pick a particular memory from a particular event. But one thing is common to all events, and that is the character exhibited by my friend Mike. Whatever he did, he did it well and with enthusiasm and a genuine joy for living unmatched by anyone I have ever known. He cared for his friends and gave willingly of himself. If I could be more like anyone I would honestly chose to be "More like Mike".

I have many fond memories of Mike, Bonnie and Mike’s three brothers. Mike served as the President of the Clearwater Chapter of the USF Alumni Association. One of the characteristics I enjoyed most was his positive attitude. He loved his family. Rest In Peace, my friend.
Those we love and hold dear don't go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still missed and very dear. Rest In Peace our friend -- You will be Missed. Jeff & Michelle Helms
Two things come to mind when I think of Mike. One, of course, is baseball and my husband Paul and Mike used to enjoy pushing their agendas on each other. Paul loves the Yankees and Mike loves the Rays so there was always a bit of a tennis match going on with that which they both thoroughly enjoyed. He also had a great love of music and we were blessed to share a number of concerts with Mike, Bonnie, Paul and me. Ruth Eckerd played a big role for Mike and I know his presence will be sorely missed in the arts as well as all the other endeavors of his life. He was an amazing influence on my husband when Paul was a late teen and then even more so when he became a business owner in his twenties. He always said that Mike gave him the greatest advice and always wanted our best interests to be protected. He’s was like another brother to Paul. He leaves behind a very rich legacy and I don’t know what more you could ask when someone is remembering you. God bless Mike and his whole family. We will continue to do whatever we can to honor his memory and his life’s accomplishments.
Mike and I shared so many great baseball and hockey games, full of wonderful conversations…RIP my friend and terrific neighbor….Frank Ousley
