Mom,
A lifetime is not enough to share all the love you always had to give. Thank you for always being the greatest mother a son could have. Always smiling ,accepting of your children for who they are, quietly making sure we are all doing okay and using your funny wit when you thought it best! I loved that about you.
These last months, while we were able to spend every evening together, has been a blessing to me. You were gracious to the end in spite of the obvious difficulties. I am so grateful that the last words you spoke to me were "I love you", and not surprised.
Our last night together, you stared deeply into my eyes for an extended period of time. I knew you were saying good-bye, since you could no longer speak. I was comforted knowing that you were aware and at peace. You left us that evening on this earth, but you will never leave our hearts and mind. I will always love you, and be grateful you were my mother.
Don't Chase the Men!!
