My Big Sister, My Very Best Friend…
A teenager when I was born; she was like a mother to me. Beautiful, Classy, Fiery, Passionate, Caring, a bit Eccentric, Sensitive (she didn’t want you to know that) but, she would not hesitate to give you a piece of her mind when she felt the need. Very proud of her Italian heritage. Many have heard Italian words that you never knew existed coming from her mouth. She was Feisty for sure! I looked up to her and admired her spunk. Always ready with a big smile and that perfect pose when she saw a camera pointed her way. The most prominent thing we will remember about Grace is of course, how she loved her gold jewelry and proudly displayed it so meticulously around her neck. Oh how I remember her purple hair and the complements she received from mostly men. In a parking lot a car slammed on it’s brakes, backed up and a man looked out the window and said “I Love your hair” She said to me “as long as I keep getting compliments, I’m going to keep coloring my hair purple!” She was so very proud of her beautiful flowering plants displayed all around her yard. I’m sure she inherited her gardening skills from our dad.
Our sister Elvera would tell me stories how Grace was always her own person, doing things her way. Happy go Lucky, Smiley, Giddy, Giggly, Energetic and Full of life! Absolutely One of a Kind, Never to be duplicated!
She was truly “Amazing” hence, why her co-workers gave her the name “Amazing Grace” she loved everyone and was loved by so many friends and family however, I don’t think she realized it.
mia sorella Graziella, ti amo, (my sister Grace, I Love you) with all my heart. I so miss our long talks and I will miss you Always & Forever.
Oh yeah, ‘No’ you cannot love me more, that is impossible.
I know you have brought an Electrical Spark of Sunshine to the heavens above. Whenever I hear the sounds of lightning, I will feel your presence. You will live forever in my Heart. Rest in peace, my Beautiful Loving Sister “Amazing Grace” Ciao for now!

My memories of my Aunt Grace from her nephew Nick. Growing up, I always remembered pictures and stories told through family members of my Aunt Grace. Young, vivacious, full of life, and always with a flower in her hair. She was strikingly beautiful. Later on in life, her style always projected her personality to the fullest. Point in question, dying her hair pink at the ripe age of 96. Her laughter was infectious to all who had the pleasure of being in her presence. Always boisterous and straight to the point. Taking no prisoners. I, myself, was always envious and proud to have such a role model throughout my life taking in stride to be just like her. God was definitely in his best creative mind when he gifted us with such a beautiful human being. My Aunt Grace. Perfectly named in every sense of the title she was given. Our "Amazing Grace." Even though she has moved on to be reunited with family and friends that has since passed, her love and memory remains with us for eternity. RIP my dear Aunt.
