Gerri was a gem for sure! I first met her many years ago at a Quilting Class at Sue's. She sat next to me and had me laughing almost immediately at either what she said or how she said it. We smiled and laughed every time we got together - sewing classes, lunches, dinners, birthday celebrations, Christmas Quilt Parties, road trips to buy yet another piece of fabric it definitely was more comical when Gerri was with us. We miss her dearly already, but will continue to share her stories for a long time. Until we meet again, rest in peace my dear dear friend and "mama". Love you

Jerry. was a beautiful person, she loved her Nana Hilaria, our mother. She grew up with us. and Parties with her uncle Eddie Ledesma.
Now she is having a great time with " ALL " the people she loved.
May she rest in peace.
My love and God's Blessings to all her love ones in Florida. I am her aunt Martha Ledesma Romero who remembers her with much, much love I live in the San Fernando Valley close to her sister Rachel Garcia. .
21 years ago Rudy and I drove to Florida to go visit grandma for 3 weeks.it was a long loud ride ..it was gr8 .I was so happy my children got to meet and spend time with her 💕 goodtimes
I come from a line of powerful women. My grandma showed me and shared with me many reasons why and how to be the best me. She always would tell me “just make sure you’re happy”. I will never forget getting bday cards growing up that had a dollar inside from Grandma Florida. Mid 80’s I remember the drive my grams made to come see me when I was in Alabama one summer. Early 2000’s I remember the trip Ricardo and I took her and my mom to so they could enjoy a margarita on the pier of Rosarito Beach, Mexico. My grams was the “let me get my shoes” ready kinda lady and I will always love that about her. Love you grams. Rest, relax and let us take it from here.

My Sister Gerri left me many treasured memories.
Not just how she braided my hair as a little girl or observing her laugh & dance with brothers & Uncles at family gatherings or how about shopping together for treasures.
One memory stands is when she lovingly gifted our wedding cake over 54 years ago!
Sister, thank you for being there for us- I will sure miss our phone calls catching up on family news ❤️ Sis, Rachel
Grandma Geri was smooth, I’d watch her & my Yaya go back & forth trying to figure out what to eat or watch in TV. Grandma always use to pretend like she didn’t care but everyone knew she was in control the whole time. She was a Boss
