I've known Eva Mae all of my life, both as an Aunt and, much later, as my Mother-in-Law. She was firstly a Brock, therefore she tended to be a bit stubborn, just like most of us that still bear that name. But, she was always a great lady, and will continue to be, even with her passing. She is, and will continue to be, missed by many who have had the privilege of knowing her.
We can rest assured knowing that Eva, Gerard, and Carolyn are together once again.

Eva Mae was a very dear friend of my mother in Gulfport and later of mine as well. She was generous to a fault and full of passion for life. What great conversations we had about her life and about politics! Every time I went to St. Pete I would bring her Swiss champagne truffels, which she loved! Yes, she had a long and full life but I'm nonetheless very sad about her passing. My heartfelt condolences to all her family.
it is with sorrow we say good bye to our beloved aunt eva mae. she was absolutely a grand lady. her long life was full of many happy times and then sad times in losing uncle gerard and carolyn so soon. she made the most of every year. our family circle will be lost with our her. but we could not bear to think of her being bedfast and just existing. rest in peace. the brock family in shreveport. carlton, natalie, brenda and bruce
The Kenmore has lost a great lady! Eva will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

As we thought about how to capture the right words and so many memories to show our love and deep appreciation for Aunt Eva Mae, we thought, "Eva, a little help here", and smiled. If there was someone who could say it, tell it, engage the hearts and minds of those around her, it was Eva. She loved an audience and had so many wonderful memories and quotable quotes she shared.
Although she loved us all well, her heart kept drawing her to her forever love, Gerard, and her daughter, Carolyn, both taken too soon.
She hung tough, worked hard at staying positive and supporting family and friends to her greatest ability -- which was the best of the best.
You are and will contine to be missed Aunt Eva Mae. Thank you for making happy memories with us and for us.
We love you.

Eva Mae has been my second Mom from age three on and I am 71! She is my second son's Godmother and Caroline was my first son's Godmother and I think my third son spent more time with her... My Mother, Leota Brickman, Carolyn, Eve and I created wonderful memories from going to Dunkin's Tea Room in Tulsa then on to movies, creating felt skirts with poodles, halter top sun dresses and recital costumes for our dancing, vacationing together to the Ozarks and Florida as a child. We shared our marriages, our health, good and bad times together. The Ashabranner's were always there for me. I always loved Eve's salt and paper hair and now I have it... Love you much and you will always be in my heart.
