My grandma was a beautiful soul and always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her. She always called me when there was a storm headed towards New Orleans (Where I live) to make sure I was safe. I'll miss our phone calls and I'll miss her "Oh Hi Honey's". I couldn't have asked for a better grandma and I know that my dad is who he is because of her. I couldn't thank her enough for raising him to be the dad he is. She always stayed positive even when she was suffering and that is a true testament to her character. I love you, I'll miss you forever, and I'm glad I'll have another guardian angel looking down on me.
Bobbie Jean you were a very special person and a great friend. We met in1956 so it has been a long and loving friendship. Frank and I will never forget all the good times we had with your family. Sitting around the table for hours just visiting and having a good time. Thanks for all the great memories and oh how I'm going to miss our phone visits. Bobbie was a kind, loving and beautiful lady. She was one of my best friends. I enjoyed the many talks we had about life. She has a wonderful and loving family who were very kind to me. I will have many wonderful memories of her. Love you Bobbie, Prayers for the family.
My beautiful Aunt Bobbie connected with me because we loved so many of the same things - little knick knacks that now adorn my house. But what I admired most about her was her perseverance, strength, and intelligence. Every time we got together, I would look over her book shelves, at the range of things that interested her, and think to myself how much I admired her. She was smart and witty and intelligent and yet so down to earth and humble.
I will miss you so, Aunt Bobbie and I'm happy that you are free from the mental and physical chains of Parkinson's Disease.
Heaven has gained another Angel. Thank you my beautiful sister for 73 years of love, laughter and sisterly friendship. I will miss you terribly, and I will see you in my heart until we meet again. Soar like the eagles in heaven! I love you dearly.
