Barbara and I met many many years ago when my husband Howard France, and a Florida Power colleague, Don Miller, met at the Sunset Tavern on Sunset Beach. We became fast friends. Barbara and Don invited us to enjoy blue crabs one night.....what a spread. We drifted apart for a time, then she let me know that Don had passed away. Later, in l992, Howard also passed away. I was working one day at my job when my son Dave called me, and said "Mom, do you know a lady named Barbara Gibson?"......oh Lord the memories flooded back...I said "yes, we've been friends for umpteen years".....Dave said "well I'm dating her daughter. We were never separated again and for the last 7 years we lived on the same property, went shopping, and dining out after we tended to tasks. I will always love her and our friendship. Now she will be reunited with Don, and her Chihauha Gizmo. Praise the Lord.
